EBL 280mAh 9 Volt Ni-MH Rechargeable. If you prefer standard NIHM/NICAD style batteries, then EBL also has these which I also have tested and use. I cycle these mainly for smoke detectors etc in my home but they work well for anything. I usually keep the lithium batteries for heavier tasks and storage since they keep a charge in storage unlike NIHM.
DC9V 520mAh Professional Grade Li-Polymer Battery Li-Polymer cell, capacity up to 520mAh.
These are my favorite not only due to the mAh but these things are at least HALF the weight of either Lithium Ion OR NIHM rechargeable batteries. I use these specifically in my kit and survival gear for that reason.
One thing to note with these, they are MUCH more expensive than normal Li-Ion or nihm rechargeables. Worth i think.
Highly Recommended! My Top Choice!
Tenergy 9V 600mAh Li-ion Rechargeable Batteries. I also recommend and have tested these batteries as well.. No real difference from the others listed here. Just another good reliable brand and source.
EBL Lithium 600 mAh 9 Volt rechargeable. I have tested and used these extensively and they do well holding a charge. They seem to last about the same length of time as normal NIHM/NICAD rechargeables however these are lighter in weight which makes them an excellent choice to use in your kit or survival pack.
